"The Vagina Monologues for Birth"

Brutally honest, desperately funny, and deeply moving, Birth follows the stories of eight women navigating through the modern obstetrical system.

Featuring some of the best female talent in Ottawa, the CBB production of BIRTH is a fundraiser for the International Breech Conference, hosted by CBB at the Bronson Centre, October 15-16, 2009.

BOLD
BOLD, Birth on Labor Day, inspires communities around the world to use the Arts to create a new women-centered global culture around birth. Performances of Karen Brody’s play Birth have taken place during the month of September every year and as of 2009 can be produced at any time of year. Birth, a play telling eight true stories of powerful low-risk women giving birth, is one event that supports this BOLD movement.
